The Sales Manager is in charge of:

  • Achieves Sales goals defined in coordination with General Manager and Company Sales Team
  • Implements strategies to improve market penetration and sales productivity 
  • Increases sales volume and profitability by formulating and executing projects for all market areas as stated in the Hotel Business Plan
  • Improves call productivity monitoring and tracking results and analyses sales statistics to formulate profitability
  • Reviews market analysis to define client needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, etc
  • Negotiates with clients to achieve maximum profit while satisfying client needs
  • Meets the budgeted Sales results and profit margins by soliciting, evaluating, selling and confirming business
  • Plans for and implements strategies to maintain and increase the volume of business thorough Sales promotion
  • Monitors the Sales' Department’s budget, taking corrective actions for any deviation
  • Maintains accurate sales statistics and account records and provides feedback to General Manager on changing market conditions and trends in competition

 

  • Quality management skills are needed 
  • Several years of sales experience in Italy preferably at a high-level Hotel, as well as an established network in Italy 
  • Italian and English confidence are mandatory. German language skills are a plus
  • Great attention to details, problem solving, punctuality, proactivity, flexibility and team working skills
  • Master degree preferably
  • Full time fix term contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo
